Serving Our Neighbors!

Something new this way comes! We are in the process of unveiled a new missions program that we will be implementing over the next few months. A few years ago we began offering the opportunity for our people to go on missions trips. But we have found that not everyone can do that, which was no big surprise. But, a lot of people would like to be involved in doing something. So we are starting a new program called “S.O.N.” (Serving Our Neighbors).  This program will focus on people here in the church and in the local community who can use a little help. We are looking at helping people with minor repairs, small odd jobs that need done, etc. Things like washing windows, yard work, painting a porch, things that will take three or four people two to four hours to do. We will also be looking for people in the church who can help do the work, who are willing to give a few hours once a month to help someone else. Again, we will be sharing more about this new program over the new few weeks.
