Good Morning,

What a beautiful morning we have here in KY, yes the temp is low, around 32, but the sky is bright and clear. What a blessed God we have to give us such a morning and to think that it will be even better all the time in heaven.

I wish that I had some news for you this morning, but nothing has changed. We are still waiting to hear from the doctors about getting in to see them. We hope that we will hear something today. Mom and Dad are planning to come in either late Thursday or early Friday, I don’t think they can stand to stay away any longer. Christy and Jacob are coming in on Friday and will stay till sometime Tuesday. They still have a few things to do at the old house before they close, which I think will be Friday or Monday. Anyway, we will have a house full, but that’s fine, the more the merrier.

At the moment I plan to preach on Sunday morning, I haven’t talked with the Elders about Sunday night yet, but I don’t know that I will be able to do both. Actually, I am supposed to be wearing a neck brace to keep things stabilized, but that isn’t happening, at least not at the moment.

With me under the weather at the moment, we are going to need a little help getting some things done. For instance, I usually scan the cantata music into PowerPoint for the choir. Well, I don’t think I will be able to so that this year. So, if you can possibly do that, then see me or Sally. It’s not that hard, just takes time. We may need to have some people man the church office from time to time as well. Right now I tend to get tired after a couple of hours or so and we tend to have phone calls, people drop in, and deliveries. So it’s nice to have someone here. We will be working all this out over the next week or so, and it will have a lot to do with what happens with the doctors, when I finally get in to see one of them.

There is no Bible study this evening, but I assume that the home Bible study group will meet tomorrow evening. You should be able to find out from Ranay, Judy or William.

I am already getting e-mails and cards from many people who are praying for me and my family, and I really appreciate that. If you could continue to pass the word to others to put me on their prayer list I would appreciate it. As we all know, prayer works!

Have a Great Day in the Lord,
                   Rod
